Traveling in "Meteor". The Extremely compact, rounded design of "Meteor", the new 55-seater luxury bus recently launched on the Israeli and European markets, is the work of an Israeli designer (Alex Padwa) and body maker (Merkavim), while the chassis is Swedish (Volvo). Padwa, the automobile design specialist, have combined high technology and safety with sophisticated comforts like individual air-conditioning and lighting, a built-in refrigerator and hi-fi system, and an extra-capacious luggage compartment. The Driver's compartment is enclosed on three sides and has a back-facing TV camera for safer reversing. |
